Dr Ted Dunstone
Dr Ted Dunstone is the CEO and founder of Biometix and also the founder of the Biometrics Institute. He has personally provided consultancy and biometric evaluation services for over fifteen years to a wide range of government agencies and organisations. He is a frequent speaker on the application of biometrics and is well known within the international biometrics community. He is currently the chair of the technical committee of the Biometrics Institute as well as the Biometric Vulnerability Experts Advisory Group. In 2008 he co-authored a textbook on biometric data analysis, published by international textbook publisher, Springer.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of South Australia and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Wollongong and was awarded the NSW Pearcy Award which is given for innovative and pioneering achievement and contribution to research and development within the IT&T industry.
General Manager - Principal Consultant
Matt Joined the team as General Manager and Principal Consultant in 2016 and is a skilled and innovative consultant with an extensive portfolio of major projects engagements, many at the national and/or enterprise level, with specialist expertise in complex business reform, performance modelling, compliance and performance, business analysis and process design, change management, impact analysis, project management and complex stakeholder engagement.
Matt has extensive experience working for a range of private sector organisation such as ANZ Bank & Woodside Energy as well Government Agencies including: Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Federal Police, several Aid Agencies in Australia and Overseas. He also held roles of Business Manager and Chief of Operations for several private sector organisations.
Troy has been involved with project management for the public and private sector for over twenty years, and has specialised in Government border security and biometrics solutions for over 15.
Troy is an international expert in Biometrics bringing a wealth of knowledge from his many years within the Security and Intelligence sector in the United States and now within Australia for over two years. Troy is currently working as a Subject Matter Expert for the Department of Home Affairs to perform tasks on the Enterprise Biometric Identification Service.
Mel is a skilled Consultant with an extensive portfolio of major project engagements, many at the national and/or enterprise level, with specialist expertise in complex business reform, compliance, business analysis, change management, strategic program and project management, and complex stakeholder engagements.
Mel has over 5 years experience as a Biometric Subject Matter Expert with specialist knowledge in the fingerprint modality within the Department of Home Affairs.
Jake Lee is an accredited and accomplished biometrics professional, providing technical and management direction across a range of projects. He holds a qualification in project management and is experienced in a number of methodologies.
Jake has worked on international government, federal government and private sector projects. He specialises in biometric performance analysis, custom solution development, strategic consulting and technology selection.
Stewart is an experienced business analyst , providing support to our clients when developing their system and project requirements.
Stewart has worked across a range of projects involving the analysis of internal and external biometric solutions and specialises in providing biometric analysis and support for the financial industry.
Lily Stanzel Day
Service Delivery Manager
Lily has a keen interest in Biometrics and is an experienced Delivery Manager with over 7 years’ experience, leading and delivering projects, programmes and services to Australian Government and private organisations.
Lily is dedicated to driving customer centric outcomes whilst maintaining profitability, reputational certainty and overall successful service delivery. Lily’s greatest strengths are her ability to manage client expectations whilst invigorating operational staff to deliver outcomes within time, budget and scope.
Matthew joined Biometix in 2017 upon the completion of his Bachelors of Software Engineering degree at the Australian National University.
During his 2 years with Australian Taxation Office, Matthew gained valuable experience in software development and working on a number of projects.
